Sports Minister dissolves interim committees of Automobile Sports and Karate Do Federation

The Minister of Sports and Youth Affairs Harin Fernando has with immediate effect dissolved the interim committees appointed to exercise the powers, functions and duties of Sri Lanka Automobile Sports and Sri Lanka Karate Do Federation.

According to the provisions of the Sports Act No. 25 of 1973 and the valid sports regulations, the two sports bodies are authorised to continue with the officials/committee members elected in the previous election until the end of the term of their office and a re-election is held.
