Sports Minister meets Asia Rugby President

Sports Minister Roshan Ranasinghe has met Asia Rugby (AR) President, Qais Al Dhalai at Asian Rugby Office in Dubai, UAE.

Ranasinghe had confirmed that the Annual General Meeting and elections will be held by August 2023. The 9 members committee appointed by the minister will run the administration till the new committee is formed.

Meanwhile Sri Lanka will participate at the Asian Games in China and the Asia Rugby two legs event later this year under the national flag as Sri Lanka Rugby is recognised now.
