Sri Lanka Insurance champions of Division 1 cricket

The Sri Lanka Insurance Division I cricket team emerged Champions at the Finals of the Division I Nationalized Services Cricket Tournament 2016 held on 19 January at the NCSA Grounds, Ratmalana. SLI beat the team from National Savings Bank by 16 runs at the Finals to clinch the championship.

The champion team comprising Sachindra Rupasinghe (Captain), Chandima Perera, Sithum Wijerathna, P.D.C. Mahesh, Nuwan Jayawardena, Nirmala Lasith, S.K.M. Nishantha, Milan Dissanayake, Nalin Lankeshwaragedara, K.S.W. Rangapriya, Thisara Godahewa, Sumith Chandana, C. Ariyawansha, Madushika Jayalath and H.L. Sugath (official).
