Sri Lanka Junior Boxing in a long-term plan

Sri Lanka Junior Boxing will initiate in forming a squad to be established by the Sri Lanka School Boxing Association (SLSBA) has been established with a 10-year target with short-term goals and long-term goals with the main goal of winning four gold medals in boxing for Mother Sri Lanka in the 2032 Brisbane Olympics.

All the players who won Gold medals in the school boxing tournaments held by the Sri Lanka School Boxing Association in 2022 were selected for this. Training activities will start in the four training centres of the school boxing junior squad from the first week of November. It will be conducted at Central, Southern, Sabaragamuwa and Western Provinces with highly skilled trainers who will handle these sessions.

Gordone Sri Lanka is the main sponsor for the uniforms and training clothes of the National Junior Boxing Team. (SJ)
