The semi-finals of the Women Asia Cup 2022 between Sri Lanka and Pakistan today at the Sylhet International Cricket Stadium, Bangladesh will be telecast live from 1.00 p.m. onwards on Dialog Television Channel Number 74 (Star Sports 2).

The tourney, which consists of seven teams, consists of hosts and current champs Bangladesh, India, Pakistan, Thailand, The United Arab Emirates (UAE), Malaysia and Sri Lanka.

In the round robin matches, Sri Lanka beat UAE, Thailand, Malaysia and the crucial game against Bangladesh to qualify for the semi-finals, despite losing to Pakistan.

The Sri Lanka Women’s team has performed well as a team despite star performer and skipper Chamari Atapattu off-colour from her usual performance as she scored just 86 runs on six innings in this tourney. However, her team mate Hasharatha Madhavi, inclusive of scoring a half a century had scored 166 runs in six innings.

Sri Lanka’s strong bowling attack led by striker bowler Inoka Ranaweera who with 10 wickets in six games leads the highest number of scalps in the tourney, is also expected to play a crucial role in the upcoming semi-final.

Sri Lanka’s premier connectivity provider, Dialog Axiata PLC is the official sponsor of the National Women’s Cricket Team.
