Kandy Sports Club once again proved their dominance when they won the League (2022 for a record 22 times in the last 27 seasons starting from 1994). 

Cracking fly half Tharinda Ratwatte walked away with the Player of the Tournament award for the year 2022. The colourful event was organised by the sponsors of the Inter Club League Nippon Paint which took place at Hotel Kingsbury in Colombo recently.

Kandy SC under Nigel Ratwatte won all games during last two seasons including the sevens. Fazil Marija being the Head Coach during this time. Sri Lanka Navy SC walked away with the Plate win while Sri Lanka Air Force took away the runner up trophy in the Plate segment.

Nippon Paint confirmed their continued support for the League and Knockout tournaments in the future as well.
