Sri Lanka Rugby pays tribute and gratitude to its sponsors

Sri Lankan Rugby Sevens outfit under Tharinda Ratwatte left for the Asian Games 2023 in Hangzhou, China which will take place from 23 September to 8 October.

In the rugby sevens tournament, Sri Lanka will compete under the flag of the Olympic Council of Asia (OCA). They are prepared to conquer the Asian rugby arena, even in the absence of the national flag.

A significant assembly of sponsors who committed their support in advance for the years 2022-2023 to elevate the success of rugby both domestically and internationally, by diligently countering any detrimental forces against Sri Lankan rugby players, has united with a resolute purpose. Rugby Sinha stands firmly to extend its support to the Sri Lankan Rugby Lions.

Amongst these sponsors, Nippon Paint, which has consistently taken a leading role, continues to be a frontrunner. Co-sponsors include Webxpay, Ceylon Agro-Industries Ltd. (Kottu Mee), and Signature (Hameedia).
