Sri Lanka Tuskers leave shores for Asia 7s

The 12-member Sevens team left Sri Lankan shores this week to compete at the upcoming first leg of the Asia Rugby Sevens Series tournament that will kick off on 31 August and 1 September in Incheon, South Korea.

The Tuskers will be led by playmaker Dansha Dayan and will scrum down on Saturday 31 August with China at 11.12 a.m and with Japan at 2.30 p.m Sri Lanka time, and play their last preliminary round match with United Arab Emirates (UAE) on Sunday 1 September at 8.42 a.m Sri Lanka.

In this year’s tourney, teams from China, Chinese Taipei, Hong Kong, Japan, Korea, Philippines, United Arab Emirates and Sri Lanka will play it out for a top finish in round one.
