Sri Lanka Under-19 Coach Hashan Tillakaratne, speaking after the game said: “We used this series to take a look at all the players of the current U19 pool (21 players) in order to prepare for the upcoming tours and the U19 World Cup. That’s the reason we named two squads for the series. Accordingly, we were able to give all the players an opportunity to play. For some players it was the very first time they were tested in the international arena. “We take lots of positives out of this tournament and will use this is a platform to build up for upcoming assignments.’’
