Sri Lanka U19 cricketers leave on tour for England

Sri Lanka Under-19 cricketers to the UK board the bus to the airport from Sri Lanka Cricket headquarters yesterday watched by their parents

 

 


The 18-member Sri Lanka U19 cricket team led by Raveen de Silva of Nalanda College, Colombo left for the UK in the early hours of yesterday to play England U19 in a series of two four-day Youth Tests and three Youth ODIs.

The team will commence the tour with a three-day warm-up match against Young Lions International XI at Loughborough before the Youth Tests and Youth ODIs.

The two Youth Tests will be played at Chelmsford (21-24 August) and at Derby (28-31 August). The three Youth ODIs will take place on 5 September and 8 September at Worcester and on 10 September at Leicester.
