Sri Lanka Women’s team coach resigns, SLC to hire a new coach

Hemantha Devapriya, the Coach of Sri Lanka Cricket’s Women’s team tendered his resignation, with immediate effect.

Devapriya was the coach of the Women’s team since October 2016 and cited personal reasons for his resignation. 

He was contracted up until October 2018. “Whilst thanking Devapriya for his services, SLC will start the process of engaging a new coach to take the Women’s team forward,” Sri Lanka Cricket CEO Ashley De Silva said.
