Sri Lanka yesterday beat USA by 198 runs in the warm up game in Bulawayo, Zimbabwe ahead of the ICC Cricket World Cup qualifiers. 

Sri Lanka amassed 329 for the loss of 5 wickets and the USA was bowled out for 194 in 33.2 overs.

Dimuth Karunaratne and Kusal Mendis hammered centuries as Sri Lanka piled up a massive 392-5 in their 50 overs.Invited to bat first Sri Lanka lost Pathum Nissanka for 25, but that brought together Karunaratne and Mendis who figured in a second wicket partnership of 191 that laid the foundation for the massive total. Karunaratne scored 111 off 100 balls (15 fours) before retiring out and Mendis 105 off 91 balls (7 fours, 6 sixes).

Charith Asalanka (62* off 37 balls, 5 fours, 4 sixes) and skipper Dasun Shanaka (61* off 30 balls, 7 fours, 2 sixes) gave the innings the final impetus with an unbroken stand of 112 off 50 balls.
