Action at Sri Lanka vs Seychelles encoounter
|
A brave first-half effort but no continued consistency of play resulted in Sri Lanka’s 1/0 defeat at the hands of Seychelles in the four-nation Mahinda Rajapaksa Football Tournament 2021, which took place at the Race Course Ground in Colombo during the last weekend.
At the short breather, the scores were nil-all.
After the turnaround, the visitors scored their only goal in the match at the 68th minute through. Though Sri Lanka tried their level-best, they could not equalise.
The referee was Abdulhadi Alroweli (Qatar). Sri Lanka drew with The Maldives in the opener with (4/4).
Meanwhile, Bangladesh pulled off a narrow 2/1 win over The Maldives in the other match played at the Race Course Ground last weekend.
