Sri Lanka emerging cricketers to tour UK next month

The Sri Lanka Emerging team will make a cricket tour to the United Kingdom to play three four-day games and three T20 matches commencing next month.

The team is expected to arrive in the UK on 1 May and commence a three-match four-day series with England Lions.

The matches will be followed by a three-match T20 series.

The tour is expected to provide an ideal platform to expose and give experience to emerging players to compete at the international level.

The tour fixtures released by Sri Lanka Cricket:

• 6-9 May: first four-day at Canterbury, Kent

• 13-16 May: second four-day at Ageas Bowl, Hampshire

• 20-23 May: third four-day at Guildford CC, Surrey

• 25 May: first T20 at Kia Oval, Surrey

• 27 May: second T20 at the Cooper ACG, Somerset

• 29 May: third T20 at Bristol, Gloucestershire
