ICC Under-19 Women’s T20 World Cup

Sri Lanka lost their first warm-up match of the ICC Under-19 Women’s T20 World Cup to Bangladesh by 4 wickets at Kuala Lumpur.

Batting first Sri Lanka scored 124-3 in 20 overs with all their top order batters contributing. Bangladesh overhauled that total losing six wickets with Juairiya Ferdous guiding them to victory with an unbeaten 55 off 42 balls (2 fours, 4 sixes).

Sri Lanka play Samoa today in their second warm-up match before the tournament proper.
