Sri Lanka to play 3-Test series in England next year

Sri Lanka play England at Lord’s on 29 August next year

 


Sri Lanka will play a three-Test series against England in the 2024 English summer.

England yesterday announced their 2024 home international cricket season which includes three Tests against Sri Lanka at Old Trafford, Lord’s and KIA Oval.

Sri Lanka who will play in the second half will share the summer with West Indies who’s three Tests are in July at Lord’s, Trent Bridge and Edgbaston.

Sri Lanka’s three Tests will be towards the end of the summer in August-September.

The dates for the three Tests are:

  • 21-25 August: 1st Test at Old Trafford, Manchester
  • 29 August-2 September: 2nd Test at Lord’s, London
  • 6-10 September: 3rd and final Test at KIA Oval, London    

The 2024 summer will see four teams touring England with Pakistan commencing the season with 4 T20I in May, and Australia finishing off the season with 3 T20Is and 5 ODIs in September.
