The Sri Lankan National Men’s Volleyball team defeated Uzbekistan 3-0 in the finals, asserting their supremacy in the Central Asian Volleyball Association (CAVA) Men’s Volleyball Challenge Cup held at the Sugathadasa Indoor Stadium on Sunday. The competition was powered by Dialog.
The exceptional 25-14, 25-18, and 25-22 victory secured the title for the host country, Sri Lanka, against Uzbekistan. Afghanistan secured the second runner-up position by defeating Saudi Arabia.
Mahela Indeewara Bandara was named the Most Valuable Player of the tournament.
