Sri Lankan excels in Polo in UK

Emerald Polo, owned by Sri Lankan Ashen Joseph, clinched the historic 4-Goal Lousada Trophy held at Kirtlington Park Polo Club, in England showcasing their talent and determination. The team, featuring Ashen Joseph, Hector Worsley, Toby Bradshaw, and Angus Smail, played with remarkable synergy on Thursday 29 August 2024, outclassing their rivals Kulin Rock Polo to win the title. 

This win highlights the team’s dedication and skill, marking a significant milestone in the team’s polo journey. Emerald Polo is already setting their sights on future tournaments and victories. Ashen Joseph is a lecturer at the University of Buckingham in England.
