SriLankan Airlines retains dominance at 34th TTSC Swimming Championship

SriLankan Airlines continued their dominance in Travel Trade Swimming, when they swept the board, thus retaining the Men’s and Women’s titles, at the 34th Travel Trade Sports Club (TTSC) Swimming Championship 2024, lavishly sponsored by Trip Fusion DMC, concluded on Saturday, 24 August, at the Thurstan College Pool.

The meet with 128 participants from 15 TTSC member firms, consisting 50 events, in 4 age categories under Novices, Championship and Veterans was efficiently and to clockwork precision was conducted by a team of officials assigned by the Sri Lanka Aquatic Sports Union (SLASU)

Men’s championship placings (first five) : SriLankan Airlines (116 points), followed by Galle Face Hotel, Island Adventures, Cinnamon Wild, Yala & Aitken Spence Travels.

Women’s championship placings (first five): SriLankan Airlines (135 points), followed by Resplendent Ceylon, Aitken Spence Travels, Hayleys Leisure and Galle Face Hotel.

Trip Fusion DMC Managing Director Chaminda Dias was the Chief Guest, along with the TTSC officials, President Dilshan Gnanapragasam, Vice Presidents Shan Perera and Adrian Jansz, event Co-ordinators Vivek Kerkoven, Marvan Madanayake, and Nalika Abeysuriya gave away the awards in a lengthy presentation.
