St. Anne’s College defeated St. Anthony’s College in their Singer Cup Under-19 Division II limited overs semi-final encounter which was worked off at the Asgiriya Stadium in Kandy.

Anne’s outfit won the toss and put the Antonians in to bat and they were in deep trouble, never being comfortable on a turning wicket. They were shot out for a low 117. In response, the Kurunegala school scored the required runs by losing only 4 wickets before the decision arrived according to D/L method due to rain in the Central Hills during the afternoon hours.
