St. Joseph’s College Principal Rector Rev. Fr. Ranjith Andradi awards school colours to Ashan Fernando 

A former star of the St. Joseph’s College rugby pitch is now making significant strides.

Ashan Fernando, who captained the school’s rugby team in 2021 and served as Deputy Head Prefect for the year 2021-22, which incidentally coincided with the college’s historic 125th year anniversary, received his colours recently.

Having successfully completed his CIMA qualification, the high-achieving alumnus is currently demonstrating his business acumen at both the Board of Investment of Sri Lanka (BOI) and the Colombo Port City Economics Commission. 

His rapid ascent in the professional world is a testament to the well-rounded education and leadership skills nurtured during his time at St. Joseph’s College.
