Stafford International (Under-15) and Colombo International School (CIS) (Under-20) won the titles at the inaugural inter school soccer encounter played recently at Longden Place.

Stafford did well to outsmart their rival CIS by 3 goals to nil with a scintillating performance. They completely dominated the game from the outset and never allowed their rivals to gain the upper hand while restricting them to a barren score card. Aaron Richard, Skipper Senitha Ratnayaka and deputy skipper Mohamed Daawid scored the winning goals.

In the Under-20 fixture, Colombo International Schools lads managed to sneak to victory (5-3) after penalty shootout over Stafford. At full time neither side was able to make an impact on the score board.
