Sathira Fernando from Brandix Essentials ‘B’ and Geeth Sankalpa from MAS Trading hogged the limelight in the ongoing 18th David Pieris Group of Companies sponsored ‘DPGC’ Challenge Trophy – MCA ‘E’ Division 25-Over League Tournament 2020, continued last weekend.

Sathira Fernando became the second centurion of the tournament as he hit a swashbuckling 106 in 74 balls, inclusive of six sixes and 10 fours against Trelleborg Lanka.

The devastating bowling spell by Geeth Sankalpa (05-01-24-07) gave MAS Trading a 22 run win over Trelleborg Lanka. 

A stylish 82 runs in 58 balls inclusive of five sixes and six fours by Damian de Biser propelled Allianz Insurance to a 60 run win over Amana Bank.

Roshan Fernando ( 05-14-05) bowled Emerchemie NB to a comfortable five wicket win over Stafford Motor Co.

In a match that went right to the wire, Virtusa snatched a one wicket, last ball win over Standard Chartered Bank.
