Strength and Conditioning program conducted in Kandy

The postponed Strength and Conditioning level 1 course which was scheduled in March 2020 and later postponed due to COVID-19 was conducted at the Nittawela Rugby Stadium last weekend.

This session was conducted by Sri Lanka Rugby (SLR) under the watchful eyes of Central Province Rugby Football Union (CPRFU) headed by former Sri Lanka rugby skipper and double International, Pradeep Basnayake. The course was conducted by former Kingswood and Navy SC Head Coach, Mothilala Jayathilake.

Kavinda Jayasena, Pradeepa Basnayake, Thusitha De Silva, Y. Ratnayake, Damien Tennakoon, Anurudda Willwara, Sashika Jayawardena, Malitha Hettiarachi and Tharaka Algama participated in this training course. A similar course will be conducted by CPRFU during the month of October. (SJ)
