Suhayb and Ahalya win at Rajawella

The Club Championship 2023 organised by Victoria Golf Resort (VGR) in Rajawella recently with Suhayb Sangani emerging as the Gents Club Champion, while Ahalya Rajan secured the Ladies Club Championship title. 

The competition was fierce from the beginning, with Suhayb Sangani taking the lead on the first day of the tournament. Sangani showcased exceptional skill and unwavering determination as he held on to his lead throughout the competition, despite fierce competition from golfing sensation, Kushal Johnpillai. Sangani won the Gents Club Championship. Youngster Thejas Rathis Kanth too was impressive, ending in third position.  

The Ladies Club Championship was no less impressive, with Ahalya Rajan demonstrating her golfing prowess and clinching the title. The female golfers participating in the tournament displayed exceptional talent and sportsmanship, making it a memorable event for all.
