Surain and Imran impress at Nuwara Eliya Golf Club tournaments

The Nuwara Eliya Golf Club (NEGC) witnessed some top-class golf in course by Surain Premathilake and hometown youngster Imran Nazeer who won the President’s Prize and Captain’s Cup respectively at the NEGC course recently.

A stellar performance by Kaiyan Johnpillai secured him the top position in the A.R. Aitken Trophy while ending runner-up in the President’s Prize. The Captain’s Cup and Monthly Medal competitions proved equally competitive. Imran Nazeer emerged victorious, showing exceptional skill and composure to claim top honours at his hometown in both these events. Mohamed Fazeel offered stiff competition, ultimately securing the runner-up spot in the Captain’s Cup and Monthly Medal of the NEGC for August 2024.
