Suresh appointed Kingswood Cricket Head Coach

Former Antonian wicket keeper/batsman of the 1983 to 86 outfit, Suresh Peiris was appointed as the Head Coach of the Kingswood Cricket outfit for 2023/2024 cricket season.

Suresh who played for his school under Angelo Liyanage, Marlon Von Haght and Rienzie Perera went on to represent Kandy YCC, Kurunegala CC and Antonians SC in club cricket, He A level 2 coach later went on to get exposure by playing club cricket in Qatar and UK.

Suresh being a leading coach over 2 decades of experience looked after schools such as Sylvester’s, Kandy CC, Kandy YCC and Kingswood. He has worked as a District Coach in Kandy, Kurunegala, Gampaha and Colombo.

He also played rugby football for Kandy Lions and CR and FC.
