The International Schools of Sri Lanka (TISSL) association initiates their maiden overseas student tour by way of the participation of the ‘TISSL Team’ comprising of 14 students and four officials, at the fifth ISCPL 2018 scheduled to be held over 6 to 14 December in Lucknow, India. City Montessori School is organising this tournament for the fifth consecutive time, since its inception in 2011 as the first ever global cricket event for schools around the world.

With the success of organising a combined TISSL team, comprising of the best cricketers from the 24 member schools, to participate at the annual Murali Cup tournaments held in Sri Lanka, the Executive Committee decided to organise this tour to encourage the talented cricketers to gain experience internationally. It is heartening to note the unity and strength of the team despite the students being from different schools.
