TTSC Pool Championships back on track after COVID

The 7th edition of the Travel Trade Sports Club Pool Championships 2023, revived after a laps of three years, will be held on Friday 28 April at the Romaanz Pool Centre, No. 06, Duplication Road, Bambalapitiya, commencing 5.00 p.m.

The tournament is sponsored by Red Apple Travels for the first time.

Entries were called from the 160 strong TTSC Membership, closing on 24 Monday April with Gayani Karunaratne, Aitken Spence Travels, Vauxhall Tower II Colombo 2. At the previous tournament held on 12 October 2019 at the QN Brave Pool Palour, Wellawatte where 32 players participated, Lakshan Samarasinghe from Annaantara Resort, Kalutara, won the “Cup” Championship; Chamith Perera from Febulos Getaway won the “Plate”; Dilshan Gnanapragasam from Resplendent Ceylon won the “Bowl” and Akila Nuwanga from infinity Vacations won the “Shield”.
