Team Cinnamon Grand Tag Rugby Champs at JK Inter-Company Rugby 7s

The John Keells Inter-Company Rugby 7s brought together a day of fun and rugby yet again, with all the action taking place at the CR&FC grounds recently. The Cinnamon Grand tag rugby team packed a punch claiming victory against all their opponents for the third consecutive year, cruising into the finals where they claimed a well-deserved victory.

The team comprised D.L. Perera (L&D), W.P.L.P. Perera (Finance), P.P. Manoj (Kitchen), E.A.M.P. Pradeep (Finance), Manoj Sarathchandra (HR), K.G.D.M. Promodha (Finance), Rashmika Perera (Banquet Sales), Dilani Thabrew (F&B), T.B. Metharanga (F&B), S. Kitchilan (Sales & Marketing), Pruthvi Peiris (Finance), and Tania Peiris (Front Office).

General Manager Dermot Gale congratulated the team for their efforts and expressed his appreciation for the commitment shown. Associates enjoyed a fun day of great rugby with all the accompaniments; food, drink, music and comradery which made the event a great success
