Two unbeaten teams Teejay Lanka and HNB Finance will lock horns in the fifth Ceylon Biscuits Ltd., sponsored, CBL Munchee Trophy MCA ‘D’ Division 40-Over League Tournament 2025 final tomorrow at the MCA Grounds, commencing 10 a.m.
15 teams pooled into 3 groups participated in the tournament.
At the completion of the round –robin, HNB Finance finished on top of Group ‘B’ and Teejay Lanka did likewise in Group ‘C’.
In the knock-out stage, Teejay Lanka beat Seylan Bank in the quarter finals and beat Power Hands Plantations in the Semi Finals; HNB Finance beat Abans Group in the Quarter Finals and beat Central Finance in the Semi Finals.
