Royal Colombo Golf Club (RCGC) led by Tharanga Gunasekara, won the Third Eagles Quadrangle Cup at the China Bay in Trincomalee recently. The tournament which was a team event was played among Victoria Golf Resort, Royal Colombo Golf Club, Nuwara Eliya Golf Club and Eagles Golf Link.

The youngster, Haroon Aslam who is studying in USA on a short holiday was in sparkling form securing both the Best Overall Nett Score and Best Overall Gross Score. 

Nearest to the PIN was won by Group Captain Crishantha Fernando while Air Vice Marshal Sampath Wickremaratne was judged as the Longest Drive winner in the Gents segment. 

The awards event took place same afternoon with Sri Lanka Air Force Commander, Air Marshal Udeni Rajapaksa, gracing the occasion as the Chief Guest. Chief of Staff, Air Vice Marshal Sampath Wickremaratne too attended the Awards Ceremony.

The tournament was sponsored by DIMO as the main sponsor and Bank of Ceylon as the banking partner and co-sponsored by CATIC in Sri Lanka.
