The third edition of the Quadrangle Cup Golf Tournament will tee off in China Bay in Trincomalee on 29 June.
This event is organised and conducted by the Sri Lanka Air Force Eagles’ Golf Links and Courses in the picturesque setting of China Bay, near the harbour city of Trincomalee. The tee off is expected at 7 a.m.
This tournament will be played among the Royal Colombo Golf Club (RCGC), Nuwara Eliya Golf Club (NEGC), Victoria Golf Resort (VGR), and Air Force Eagles’ Golf Links and Courses squaring off to win the Championship trophy.
The team-based competition, Eagles’ Quadrangle Cup, aims to foster inter-club friendship and camaraderie while also encouraging friendly competition. Each of the four clubs will field a team of 15 members to vie for the Eagles’ Quadrangle Cup Trophy.
Additionally, individual golfers will compete for Nearest to the Pin (Ladies and Gents), Longest Drive (Ladies and Gents), Best Player with the highest nett Stableford Points, and Best Player with the highest gross Stableford points.
The main sponsor is DIMO, with the Bank of Ceylon serving as the official banking partner. The event is co-sponsored by the China National Aero-Technology Import and Export Corporation (CATIC) in Sri Lanka.
