Thisara finishes on winning side of US Masters T20

Former Sri Lanka white ball captain and skipper of Jaffna Kings Thisara Perera with the US Masters T10 trophy which was won by Texas Charges when they edged out New York Warriors by two runs in a nail-biting Super Over finish at Lauderhill.

At the end of 10 overs the scores were tied at 92. Texas Chargers fast bowler Sohail Tanvir restricted the New York Warriors to 13 runs in the Super Over chase after Ben Dunk and Mukhtar Ahmed hit Sohail Khan for 15 runs.

Perera represented the winning side, while another former Sri Lanka captain Tillakaratne Dilshan finished on the losing side playing for New York Warriors.
