Thomians retain Lady Jayathilake Shield

Thomians retained the Lady Jayathilake Shield with a convincing 43 points (6 tries, 5 conversions, 1 penalty) to 31 points (5 tries, 3 conversions) win in one of the Inter Schools friendly encounters against St. Joseph’s College, which concluded at Havelock Park last evening.

At the short breather, Thomians led 28/12.

Thomians played well under wet conditions and their ball handling was also good. Meanwhile, Joes once again ended on the losing side with some poor ball handling skills.
