Three players from Under-20 pool inducted to National pool

After completion of the Under-20 tournament last week in Nepal, three players (two goalkeepers and a midfielder) have been included into the National pool, increasing the number of local players to 12 overall. 

These players will be joined by 12 overseas players today and tomorrow which will expand the pool to 24 players.

The players are housed at the Beddagana stadium in preparation for the double header against Cambodia [first leg on 5 September (home) and second leg on 10 September (away)].

This AFC Qualifier fixture will be an ideal opportunity for both local and international players to strive hard to elevate the country’s rankings from where we are at present. (AN)
