Thurstan College beat Sri Sumangala Kandy by 41 points (6 tries, 4 conversions, 1 penalty) to 21 points (3 tries, 3 conversions) in their Premier Trophy final which concluded at Havelock Park on Sunday.
Thurstan beat Piliyandala Central 30/18 in the semi-final while Sumangala Kandy beat Maliyadeva 26/13, Both Sumangala and Thurstan will play in the top division during the 2024 season. In the Chairman’s Trophy St John’s Nugegoda beat Lalith Athulathmudali 27 points (5 tries, 1 conversion).
