Top teams advance to semi-finals in MCA “F” division 25-Over League

Fairfirst Insurance, McLarens Group, Siam City Cement and Allianz Insurance booked their berths for the semi-finals, in the second Fairfirst Insurance Trophy, MCA “F” division 25-Over League tournament 2019.

In the quarter-finals played during last week-end, Fairfirst Insurance romped to a comfortable 06 wickets win over AMW; a notable double by Jagath Poorna ( 66 runs & 4 for 28) spear headed McLarens Group to a fine 48 runs win over HNB “B”; a fluent 87 runs by Dinesh Perera cemented a 73 runs wins for Siam City Cement over MAS Kreeda; and the varied bowling attack of Malik Peiris (3/16), Dulaj Jayawardena (2/6), Mayura Ranasinghe (2/17) and Charinda Fernando (2/30) propelled Allianz Insurance to a convincing 25 runs win over Brandix Essentials “B”.

The semi-finals will take place on Saturday 13 July, Fairfirst Insurance vs. McLarens Group at MCA & Siam City Cement vs. Allianz Insurance at Mattegoda.
