Travel Trade Cricket Sixes on 15 October

The 43rd Travel Trade Sports Club Men’s and Women’s Softball Cricket Sixes 2020 is scheduled to take place on Thursday, 15 October at the Shalika Grounds, Narahenpita.

For the first time in the history, the tournament will be conducted on a weekday, to make way for more hotels to participate, who are mostly busy during weekends. 

Entries have been invited from the 170-strong TTSC Membership and will close on 8 October at 3 p.m.

Entries to be forwarded to Gayani Karunaratne C/o Aitken Spence Travels Vauxhall Tower II, 4th Floor, Vauxhall Street Colombo 2; hand deliveries are accepted only on Tuesdays and Thursdays.

The official draw will be held on 12 October.

In the previous tournament held on 24 November 2019 at Steel Corporation grounds, Athurugiriya, where 41 men’s teams and 13 women’s teams participated, Blue Water, Wadduwa retained the Men’s title beating SriLankan Airlines and Amaya Lake, Dambulla retained the Women’s title, beating Cinnamon Grand Colombo.
