Trials for Asian Games and SLG Golf Ranking Tournament held at Nuwara Eliya golf club from 10-13 Jan.

• Anura Rohana finishes ahead

Pro golfer Anura Rohana finished first four strokes adrift of Mithun Perera at the recent trials to pick the four-member team for the Asian Games to be held in China in September 2023.

The four round trial was held at the picturesque golf course in Nuwara Eliya. More trials are scheduled by Sri Lanka Golf under the watchful eyes of the National Selectors in keeping with the standards set by the National Olympic Committee and the Ministry of Sports. The top-ranking amateurs did not disappoint and finished close behind the Pros.
