Trinity Under 14 Gold Star champions 2018

Trinity College Under 14 hockey team coached by Mohamed Ashraff won the ‘Gold’ star at the All-Island Under 14 Inter-School Hockey Tournament organised by the Sri Lanka Schools Hockey Association played at the Vincent Dias Stadium in Badulla.
Trinity’s Mohamed Aaqeel was in cracking form scoring four goals and Anuradha Wijetunge scored two. Trinity beat Hindu College Matale 1/0 with the solitary goal scored by Tevin Liyanage. Trinity beat St. Benedict’s College 2/1, both goals were scored by Anuradha Wijetunge. Trinity beat S. Thomas’ 3/0 with all three goals being scored by Mohamed Aaqeel, and Trinity beat Uva MV 1/0 with Mohamed Aaqeel scoring the only goal.
