Singer League 2019

Trinity College will be all out to get back in to their winning form when they confront Katugastota Antonians today at their Pallekele Rugby Stadium.

Mohommed Makarim

Reshan Bandaranayake

Kick-off is scheduled at 4 pm.

Trinity led by their dynamic full back, Reshan Bandaranayake, have one of the best outfits this season, though they do not have any stars in their line-up. Geeshaba Kulatunge, Mahdee Abdullah, Zayd Faizal, Reshan Bandaranayake and Rahul Danaraj are all top class players for the Lions. Antonians will be led by Mohamed Makarim with the Amarasinghe brothers and Ariyapala being players who have done well this season. Antonians lost out both their games played so far, to Joes and Isipathana respectively, while Trinitians lost to Isipathana but got the better of Zahira.

Joes to continue winning form

Joes are all out to continue their winning streak when they lock horns with Zahira, who are looking for their first win this season. Led by Tharindu De Alwis, the Joes were in cracking form, beating Antonians and Science in their opening encounter. On form it looks an easy win for the Joes and continuation of the leader of the group. (SJ)
