Trinity’s tussle with S. Thomas’ ends in 1-1 draw

The 10th football encounter between Trinity College and S. Thomas’ College ended 1-1 at Pallekelle recently.

At halftime, the score read 1-0 in favour of the home team. The Trinitians’ goal was scored by Chamith de Alwis while the Thomians scored through Anuka Nilaweera.

Meanwhile, Trinity beat St. John’s College, Jaffna 4-0 in another recent football fixture. Mohamed Abdullah (2), Sammer and Diviyan scored goals for Trinity. (SJ)
