Trinity to defend Bradby Golf title

The Old Boys of Trinity College will host the Old Boys of Royal College for the coveted G.C. Wickramasinghe Trophy at Bradby Golf 2022 event at the picturesque Victoria Golf Resort in Digana today. 

The tee-off is expected to be at 12.30 p.m.

The seventh edition will feature 40 players and will be held a day ahead of the second leg of the Bradby Shield 2022. The skipper of the 2005 Bradby winning team and “Rugby Lion” and seasoned golfer, B.N.R. Fernando will lead the Trinity outfit whilst Former Royal rowing and national tennis player, Somanath Fernando will lead the Royalists at this popular board event at Victoria Golf and Country Resort (VGCR). 

This event adopted as a “Ryder Cup” styled match play format that continues, has become very popular. Trinity College Principal Rev. Father Araliya Jayasundara will be the Chief Guest gracing the occasion. 

Trinity will go out all guns blazing to defend the title that they won last two years and lead the series 4/2.
