Turkish Airlines World Golf Cup 2017 tees off on 16 September

The Turkish Airlines World Golf Cup is an annual corporate amateur golf tournament established by Turkish Airlines in 2013 which started with 12 qualifying events. In 2016, thetournament became the largest corporate golf tournament in the world with over 8,000 participants from a 100 event qualifying series, which took place in 60 countries around the world. Now in its fifth year, the 2017 Series is aimed to be bigger and better reflecting on the airlines continuously expanding wide network.

The Turkish Airlines World Golf Cup offers corporate and industry experts the opportunity to network while enjoying a round of golf on some of the world’s most prestigious golf courses. One winner from each qualifying event will progress to play in the season-ending Grand Final which is scheduled to take place in Belek, Antalya, Turkey in October 2017. The winners will enjoy a return Business Class flights with Turkish Airlines, accommodation on an all-inclusive basis at the 5-star Titanic Deluxe Belek resort, a two-round Grand Final at Titanic Golf Club and season tickets to attend the Turkish Airlines Open, which will be held at Carya Golf Club, Belek, Antalya.

The winners of the Grand Final, will receive a once in a lifetime opportunity to participate in the Pro-Am tournament at the Turkish Airlines Open. Over the years, finalist have partnered with golf icons such as Henrik Stenson, Martin Kaymer, Victor Dubuisson, Rory McIlroy and 14-time Major Champion Tiger Woods.

After a successful tournament played last year in Sri Lanka, the Turkish Airlines World Golf Cup 2017– ColomboSeries will take place for the second time on 16September at the Royal Colombo Golf Club.
