US Ambassador hosts Sri Lanka men’s T20 World Cup cricketers

US Ambassador to Sri Lanka Julie Chung in conversation with the Sri Lanka men’s cricket team 

The US Ambassador to Sri Lanka Julie Chung hosted the Sri Lanka men’s cricket team ahead of the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2024 which will be held in the US and the West Indies from next month.

Taking to ‘X’ the US Ambassador stated, “We recently welcomed the @OfficialSLC Men’s National Cricket team to @USEmbSL as they prepare for their travel to the United States for the @ICC #T20WorldCup in June. This will be a fantastic moment for #SportsDiplomacy as the team heads to the cricket fields in the United States. They are sure to impress cricket fans across the United States with their skills and spirit!”

The Sri Lanka T20 World Cup team is due to leave for the US on 14 May.
