USA into Super 8; Pakistan out

Co-host USA qualified to Super 8 of the T20 World Cup 2024 after its match against Ireland was abandoned without a ball bowled due to bad weather. 

USA qualification means Pakistan is out of the rest of the 2024 tournament. India and USA top the Group A. This latest achievement also means USA qualify for the 2026 T20 World Cup.
