Lahiru Udara continued his fine form for Sri Lanka ‘A’ on their tour of South Africa scoring a fine century to help his team reach 319 on the third day of the second 4-day unofficial cricket test played at Benoni.

Udara struck 16 fours and 1 six in his knock of 129 off 192 balls. With his Captain Pasindu Sooriyabandara who missed out on a century by eight runs (92 off 166 balls, 9 fours, 1 six), Udara added 179 for the third wicket.

But once the stand was broken off-spinner Prenelan Subrayen ran through the rest of the batting to finish with figures of 6/64 off 21.5 overs.

South Africa ‘A’ with a first innings lead of 15, stretched it overall to 127 finishing the penultimate day at 112-3.
