Under-16 rugby kicks off in Kandy today

Finally the Sri Lanka Schools Rugby Football Association (SSRFA) postponed Under-16 rugby tournament will be now worked off in Digana and Pallekelle on 26 October and one day later at the Trinity College Rugby Stadium in Pallekelle.

Trinity already pulled out citing reasons education and postponement of the tournament which did not help them in continued training as the players needed to go through the recovery period. Trinitians were the defending champions having won in the last 2 years in 2022 and 2023 against Isipathana and DS.

Day 1 will take place at the Digana Stadium and Trinity College Rugby Stadium in Pallekelle while the knock out stages on day 2 will move to Pallekelle.
