Uva Province Open Badminton Championship kicks off tomorrow

The Uva Provincial Open Badminton Championship will be held at Bandarawela St. Thomas Indoor Sports Complex from 16 to 20 November.

It is organised by the Uva Provincial Badminton Association under the auspices of the Sri Lanka Badminton.

The championship will see events being conducted under a number of age groups and categories, Under-13, Under-15, Under-17 and Under-19 boys singles, doubles, girls singles, doubles and mixed doubles in junior classes and senior categories from Over-30 to Over -70.

All these events will contribute towards the national rankings and all winners, runners -up and semi finalists of the championship will be awarded prize money, certificates, trophies and medals. 

Sri Lanka Badminton (SLB) President Rohan De Silva will be Chief Guest at the finals and awards ceremony on the final day.
